In his lemon estate in Taormina, Prince Gabriele Alliata di Villafranca has refurbished five cottages from what was originally an old farm building, known as “Le Case del Principe” located between mount Etna and the bay of Taormina. The 50 sq.m. cottages named Leone consist of: 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, a small mezzanine with two confortable single beds over the living room ideal for children 5/15 a living room including a kitchen corner and an individual pergolato with garden. All rooms have been equipped with air conditioning units (hot and cold air). A spectacular pool with mediterranean gazebo and solarium is available for guests in the lemongrove 3o metres away from the cottages. Absolute privacy is assured thanks to a barrier of bamboo canes and greenery between one cottage and the next.
This cottage is ideal for a couple with 1 or 2 children

Area Description

The holiday homes are located amid the peace of the Sicilian countryside, 2 kms away from the sea and 7 kms from the center of Taormina. They are close to the spectacular gorges of Alcantara, the Agrò valley and mount Etna. The town of Syracuse, Noto capital of the sicilian baroque and Piazza Armerina famous for its roman mosaics, are approximately 1,45 hours away by car. The Catania airport is 50 kms away (by motorway) and the Taormina railway station a mere 5 kms
